Wood Fair Pictures

So the wood fair was not as successful as we had hoped. Nevertheless, our stall was beautifully laid out and we had many fantastic comments and feedback with regards to all our products. We did make some great contacts and we meet some amazing people, one of them being a sculptor called Robert Koenig.

Here some of the pictures we took. We had a cherry picker next door so B managed to get some photos.

See B’s website for (eventually) more photos of the furniture at Gabriel Conolly Tree Surgery.

Wood Fair Antics

I have been finishing off the last few items for the Weald Wood Fair today. We are having a small stand mainly for my hubby’s tree surgery business for which he is promoting his furniture making side of things. So i have decided to tag on the end and sell some of my wares – some of which I have tailored to the wood theme.

I have made four little shopping bags for children with aprons and cookie cutters inside, two pen wraps, another four pairs of booties and I have been busy tagging up my bags with my Moomi labels. I also made a mini apron with two lovebirds nesting on a branch. Its been a busy day and is still not over yet. I want to finish putting more labels together to label up the final bits. I also have two bibs to finish and one babygrow (which I know will not all get done tonight now). I want to be fairly sorted as I have started two new projects – wood based this time! Two lovely elm coffee tables I will keep you updated!

I made some from fabric from sample books and others from scrap bits of fabric I had around at the time. So here they are….
