I started to sew again in 2007 after my Mum gave me her old sewing machine to knock up a few pairs of curtains and things for our new house.
I have since been busy making things for my daughter and for the house. I wanted to have a blog to document the bits and bobs I make or decorate and decided to call it MooMi.
I orginally started out sewing baby booties and became slightly obsessed with creating a variety of different versions. Which I ended needing an outlet for so along came my Etsy shop and a couple of local shops stock my bits.
I also now enjoy making lots of things for my daughter and friends children so my stuff is mostly all baby/children orientated items.
